We help every student shine!
At St Margaret Mary's, we believe it is important for students to pursue interests to find what they are passionate about. We give them exposure to a range of exciting opportunities to unlock their creative potential, develop a talent or follow a passion.
We help every student shine!
Creative and Performing Arts
We encourage our students to explore their passions and talents. We have a range of opportunities available for students to participate in creative and performing arts activities and programs such as music, drama and dance.
Our specialist music teacher provides weekly lessons that build a strong foundation in music skills.
Students can further develop their creative talents by performing with our school choir and band.

School Sport
Sport is a valued part of a school’s curriculum, contributing to the development of the whole child by providing opportunities for social, physical, emotional and moral learning. Participation, enjoyment and skill development are the cornerstones of school sport. Representative pathways are also available through the Parramatta Diocesan Primary Schools Sports Council.
Our specialist Physical Education (PE) teacher provides expert guidance in wellbeing, sports skills, and overall fitness. At dedicated gala days, students can showcase their talents and teamwork in soccer, netball, and cross country.

Social Justice
Our students are offered a wide variety of local community activities to help develop a sense of pride, respect and responsibility for themselves and others. This positive participation and actions can be seen in how we interact and learn with one another, work collaboratively and take ownership of our behaviour as well as active involvement in faith-based experiences.
We actively support Project Compassion, St Vincent De Paul and the Aboriginal Literacy Foundation.
Our school also has ‘Mini Vinnies' student group who conduct fundraising activities for worthy causes.

Excursions, Camps and Retreats
Every student loves to get out of the classroom and explore.
Our students benefit greatly from school trips where they are able to observe new things not available at school such as rare and exotic wildlife and plants, different cultures and the stories of our history. These experiences lead to deeper understanding of learning subjects.
In recent years, students have enjoyed incursions featuring wildlife demonstrations, percussion workshops, and interactive science shows.
Camps and retreats are also wonderful opportunities for students to develop independence, grow in faith, form strong friendships and make life-long memories!
The following are some other extra-curricular activities that may be offered at St Margaret Mary's.
